"Why I Tell Stories"

Nora Stock is an award-winning filmmaker specializing in narrative, documentary, and music video works. Nora graduated as a double major from Marymount Manhattan College with a BA in Theatre & New Media, and Digital Media and Video Production, where she received the Gold Key Award for excellence in her academic field. She has also studied street photography in London through IES Abroad and completed the Stonestreet Screen Acting & Production Workshop at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.

She is the writer, director, editor, and producer of "Ecstasy Behind the Forgotten", a short film that premiered at the Big Apple Film Festival in New York City, and at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles. The film won awards such as Production Excellence (Marymount Manhattan College), and Best Student Short (Independent Short Awards). She has experience working as a Videographer for The Laugh Factory, as a Production Assistant for New York Fashion Week, and most recently as an Assistant Director for an indie short shot in North Carolina.
